Pedal stop

Great conditions at the bus stop this morning. Good turn out too. Once you get out of Bradfield and onto Strines its a different world. The wind up there makes you wish you never had Mavic spokes. Brilliant as they are they don't do side wind. Once that was over and we stood at the turn off for Ladybower all the hard work is done. Even on Abney the wind was never as nasty. Rewarded with a really nice ride. Amazing view up there with no cloud cover, just perfect light. Great foos as always in the Yondermans cafe.

Just had this feedback from a rider.
This might not be a general rule but i bought some of these from James's when Paul Russel told me they were a good cheaper alternative to the Ultra Gator Skin I use on my winter bike, I had 18 punctures in 3 months one time 3 on a 45 mile ride. I threw 'em away after that day and wouldn't go near them again. I switched back to Gator Skins and normal service was resumed.

I can't wait. Eight of us going this year. Largest group we have had. Special mention to Ian Hull who reads this on his iPad , I hear the Hockney exhibit is worth a look. Ends 9th April in London. I hope they bring it up north. That's where he painted the stuff.

Edale

The weather has been nasty of late. We didn't get out Saturday.
Pete and myself had a late start Sunday and rode out to Ed ale. Roads are better now. Still plenty of snow on the Edale side though. Just there and back. Didn't fancy Mam Nick.
