Shizz is about to go down
Think this may well be the coolest photo i have ever seen.
It also satisfies Alex and my man crushes.

CERO AR30 Superlight Alloy Clincher
Dan Story rides for these. RST do a wheelset they say is 1390g but at
http://www.cycledivision.co.uk/product-info.php?pid133.html
£349.99 they are way cheaper than the Dura Ace ones at 1380g. The two
reviews are ok but appart from those i know nothing about these wheels.
Next time I see Dan I will ask him about them.
They also do a rain jacket which he did rave about the last time I
saw him and at £29.99 that's cheaper then most out there.

Mount Nick Hill Climb
In perfect Sheffrec fashion we arrived late and missed the event. only 44 riders took part which is sad for such a class hill climb.
we took the Mam Tor route as I have a pathological fear of Winnats. didn't hear anyone else wanting to ride up it though! Mam Tor is class. Be better on a MTB or motor cross bike though.
after nearly watching the event we dropped down to the nice 'in a pickle cafe' in Chapel. capital of the Peak District has a golden post box. must find out who that was for.
planned route back was up the steep hill and over to Tideswell. after a ride round a housing estate will did find said steep hill. it's very steep actually. then the hail and rain came down. bad for Mick with no gloves or show covers and riding his Litespeed. he's a hard man though and refused my spare wet gloves. by the time we got to the Nags the sun had come out and the place was full of pretty girls.
Pete Barrett made an appearance but sacked it before the Strines turn off. hopefully we will see more of Pete in the future as he's a great guy.
all in all a great days riding despite the nasty hours heavy rain.

summer in October!
perfect days riding. Weather was excellent. made a welcome return to Yondermans to watch Mr Joy eat. Alex matched him on the daft breakfast. we took the daft right after the Abney turn off which brings you out on sir William hill and is steeper. went down Monsall slower than the guys probably went up it today in the race!
Mr Joy got the emergency call as we were leaving the cafe. son locked in bathroom. we only found this out in the Nags much later. the hero raved home and climbed in through the window. so think on if you ever want to rob his place.
now the question for me is. Marks wife managed to pass a games console under the door so Harrison was not bore during this ordeal. how big is the gap under the bathroom door? was it a DS or a Nintendo Wi? either way Marks had no luck with locks over the last few weeks, having to use the farmers bolt cutters to free his bike two weeks ago.
got a picture of my local cycle lane. which I wi attach.
